Why Take an Infant & Child CPR Class?

Infant and Child CPR & Choking classes are essential for parents, caregivers, and anyone who spends time with young children. These classes teach life-saving skills that can help you respond quickly and confidently in an emergency.

MLFEd’s Infant & Child CPR Program

At Main Line Family Education, our program is led by Registered Nurses and moms who have extensive experience in pediatric care. The training is hands-on with state-of-the-art manikins and an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) simulator that replicate real-life scenarios. The manikins light up with green, yellow, or red lights to give instant feedback on compression speed and depth and the AED simulator mimics exactly how an AED machine is used.

The importance of taking an Infant and Child CPR class cannot be overstated. In an emergency, every second counts, and knowing how to perform CPR can make all the difference. These classes teach you how to recognize the signs of cardiac arrest, how to perform chest compressions and rescue breathing, and how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

They also cover topics such as choking, drowning, and other common emergencies that can occur in infants and children. By taking these classes, you will gain the knowledge, skills and muscle memory needed to respond quickly and effectively in an emergency situation.

The classes at MLFEd take place in a beautiful studio setting, which provides a comfortable and safe environment for learning. We keep class sizes small to ensure a personalized experience for everyone in attendance.

5-Star Reviews

With tons of 5-stars reviews, this is a not-to-miss class! Here is what others have said:

“My parents, husband and I all signed up to attend the CPR class through Main Line Family Education, and once again, we were so happy we chose to come here! Our instructor, Madison, was informative, outgoing and did a great job breaking down the information to us. The mixture of video, discussion, and hands-on practice was perfect to reiterate the information and make sure it stuck! It had been several years since I had learned CPR, so it was a great refresher while also learning new information with recent changes. We all left the class having peace of mind knowing our baby will be well taken care should an emergency arise!”

“We had a wonderful experience at MLFEd! They made everyone feel very comfortable, even offering foot stools for the pregnant folks, which was so appreciated! Although the content is somber, the instructor made everyone feel very confident and comfortable.”
