Covid Health and Safety

Your health and safety are important to us. MLFEd follows all up to date CDC, PA state and local health and safety guidelines including those related to COVID-19, and any additional site-related requirements.

Payment

All major credit/debit cards are acceptable forms of payment. Payment must be made in full upon registration.

Withdrawal, Rescheduling, and Refund Policy

You will receive MLFEd credit (less a $20 administrative fee OR less $20 per person for CPR class), only if we are notified by email at info@mlfed.com at least 3 business days before the start of the class. A class can only be cancelled and re-booked one time.

To qualify for MLFEd credit, you must email: info@mlfed.com. MLFEd credit is valid for 6 months, is transferable, and can be used toward any of our classes. To register using MLFEd credit, you will be required to use a provided coupon code.

Class Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

MLFEd reserves the right to move in-person classes online if circumstances warrant. MLFEd will make a reasonable effort to accommodate students in rescheduling classes or moving them online; however, MLFEd does not issue refunds in such circumstances or as a result of weather, illness, personal emergencies or any other event beyond our control. To qualify for MLFEd credit, you must email: info@mlfed.com. MLFEd credit is valid for 6 months, is transferable and can be used toward any of our classes. To register using MLFEd credit, you will be required to use a provided coupon code.

MLFEd reserves the right to cancel classes as necessary. If MLFEd cancels a class, students will be given the option of receiving a full MLFEd credit valid for 6 months or a full refund.

Online Class Conduct

MLFEd students are not authorized to make audio or video recordings of MLFEd classes (on-demand, virtual and in-person) without the written permission of MLFEd. MLFEd students are prohibited from providing access to online classes to anyone else.

Online Policies

All MLFEd students understand and agree that MLFEd and those acting pursuant to its authority may:

(a) Record student likenesses and voices on video, audio, photographic, digital, electronic, online formats, or on any and all other media.

(b) Use, reproduce, publish, republish, exhibit, edit, modify, or distribute, in whole or in part, these recordings in all media without compensation for any purpose that MLFEd, and those acting pursuant to its authority, deem appropriate for learning. These recordings may appear in a variety of formats and media now available to MLFEd and that may be available in the future (e.g. videos, DVD, Internet, mobile, digital). All such recordings, in whatever medium, shall remain the property of MLFEd.

Each student participating in MLFEd classes acknowledges and agrees to release MLFEd and those acting pursuant to its authority from liability, claims, and demands for any violation of any personal or proprietary right the participating student may have in connection with such use, including any and all claims for libel, defamation and/or invasion of privacy.

Liability

Students take classes at their own risk and agree to waive and release MLFEd instructors, administrators and staff from any and all claims. The opinions and recommendations expressed by instructors are personal. MLFEd is not responsible for instructor views.

Main Line Family Education, LLC and the MLFEd website content only provides general information that may or may not apply to your personal health condition or circumstances. The opinions expressed on these websites by Nicole S. Didizian, RN-BSN, CBC, CCE, or any other MLFEd team members or volunteers on behalf of MLFEd are strictly their own personal opinions and not the opinions or policies of any third party, including any health care provider, employer, educational or medical institution, professional association or charitable organization. Nothing in MLFEd or on the MLFEd site constitutes or shall be construed as constituting medical advice of any kind whatsoever, whether from a licensed medical professional or otherwise; nor is it a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis and treatment.

The www.mlfed.com website (the “Site”) is comprised of various web pages operated by Main Line Family Education, LLC (“Main Line Family Education” or “MLFEd”).  

Site is offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of the terms, conditions, and notices contained herein (the “Terms”). Your use of www.mlfed.com constitutes your agreement to all such Terms. Please read these terms carefully, and keep a copy of them for your reference.  

www.mlfed.com is an E-commerce Site. We offer classes and support services to expectant/current parents on topics such as childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, newborn care, and parenting. 

Privacy 

Your use of www.mlfed.com is subject to Main Line Family Education, LLC’s Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs the Site and informs users of our data collection practices. 

Electronic Communications 

Visiting www.mlfed.com or sending emails to Main Line Family Education, LLC constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic communications and you agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically, via email and on the Site, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. 

Main Line Family Education, LLC does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information from persons under the age of thirteen. If you are under 18, you may use www.mlfed.com only with permission of a parent or guardian.

Main Line Family Education content is not for resale. If you do not want information about you to be shared in this manner, do not use this feature. 

International Users 

The Service is controlled, operated and administered by Main Line Family Education, LLC. from our offices within the USA. If you access the Service from a location outside the USA, you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. You agree that you will not use the Main Line Family Education Content accessed through www.mlfed.com in any country or in any manner prohibited by any applicable laws, restrictions or regulations. 

Indemnification 

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Main Line Family Education, its officers, directors, employees, agents and third parties, for any losses, costs, liabilities and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) relating to or arising out of your use of or inability to use the Site or services, any user postings made by you, your violation of any terms of this Agreement or your violation of any rights of a third party, or your violation of any applicable laws, rules or regulations. Main Line Family Education reserves the right, at its own cost, to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will fully cooperate with Main Line Family Education in asserting any available defenses.

Termination/access restriction

Main Line Family Education, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to the Site and the related services or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of courts in Pennsylvania in all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of the Site. Use of the Site is unauthorized in any jurisdiction that does not give effect to all provisions of these Terms, including, without limitation, this section. You agree that no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship exists between you and Main Line Family Education as a result of this agreement or use of the Site. Main Line Family Education’s performance of this agreement is subject to existing laws and legal process, and nothing contained in this agreement is in derogation of Main Line Family Education’s right to comply with governmental, court and law enforcement requests or requirements relating to your use of the Site or information provided to or gathered by Main Line Family Education with respect to such use. If any part of this agreement is determined to be invalid or unenforceable pursuant to applicable law including, but not limited to, the warranty disclaimers and liability limitations set forth above, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision and the remainder of the agreement shall continue in effect. 

A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English. 

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

All matters relating to the Website and these Terms of Use and any dispute or claim arising therefrom or related thereto (in each case, including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule (whether of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any other jurisdiction). 

Any legal suit, action or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms of Use or the Website shall be instituted exclusively in the federal courts of the United States or the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania although we retain the right to bring any suit, action or proceeding against you for breach of these Terms of Use in your country of residence or any other relevant country.  You waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts. 

Limitation on Time to File Claims

ANY CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM YOU MAY HAVE ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OF USE OR THE WEBSITE MUST BE COMMENCED WITHIN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CAUSE OF ACTION ACCRUES, OTHERWISE, SUCH CAUSE OF ACTION OR CLAIM IS PERMANENTLY BARRED.  

Class Action Waiver

Any arbitration under these Terms and Conditions will take place on an individual basis; class arbitrations and class/representative/collective actions are not permitted. THE PARTIES AGREE THAT A PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN EACH’S INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PUTATIVE CLASS, COLLECTIVE AND/ OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING, SUCH AS IN THE FORM OF A PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION AGAINST THE OTHER. Further, unless both you and Main Line Family Education agree otherwise, the arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims, and may not otherwise preside over any form of a representative or class proceeding. 

Waiver and Severability

No waiver of by the Company of any term or condition set forth in these Terms of Use shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition, and any failure of the Company to assert a right or provision under these Terms of Use shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision. 

If any provision of these Terms of Use is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of the Terms of Use will continue in full force and effect.  

Changes to the Terms of Use

We may revise and update these Terms of Use from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately when we post them and apply to all access to and use of the Website thereafter.  

Your continued use of the Website following the posting of revised Terms of Use means that you accept and agree to the changes. You are expected to check this page so you are aware of any changes, as they are binding on you.  

Entire Agreement

The Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and Main Line Family Education, LLC with respect to the Website and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to the Website. A printed version of this agreement and of any notice given in electronic form shall be admissible in judicial or administrative proceedings based upon or relating to this agreement to the same extent and subject to the same conditions as other business documents and records originally generated and maintained in printed form. It is the express wish to the parties that this agreement and all related documents be written in English. 

Your Comments and Concerns
