One-Day Childbirth Preparation Class

You asked, and we listened! Our popular Childbirth Preparation class is once again being offered on weekends in a 1-day format. Join Liz Brady, RN on Sunday, October 22nd from 12:00-5:00 PM. (As an FYI for all our Eagles fans, they don’t play until 8:20 PM that evening, so you’ll have time to get home long before kickoff!)

Benefits of a Childbirth Preparation Class

If you’re expecting a baby and want to prepare yourself for the big day, taking a Childbirth class with your partner can have many benefits. This class has been shown to reduce labor anxiety and help you feel more confident in the weeks leading up to your baby’s birth. You’ll have the opportunity to bond with other expectant couples, address your fears, and share your concerns with the instructor and other parents-to-be.

About Our Class

You will be taught by a current Labor and Delivery, Newborn and Postpartum Nurse who holds advanced certifications in both Obstetrics and Childbirth Education. Our educators have years of experience at the bedside helping mothers and their partners have a safe and satisfying birth.

You will learn about the different stages of labor, pain relief options, breathing techniques, and the different routes your birth journey might take. Your partner will learn how to support you emotionally and physically during this important time. You will both feel more relaxed and prepared for the arrival of your little one, allowing you to be more emotionally present for their birth-day!

Tremendous experience. My wife and I attended a five-hour session on Sunday and cannot rave enough about the program. We learned so much, but more importantly feel so much more comfortable and prepared to start this new journey. The instructor’s expertise was paramount in the session, and I can honestly say she put many fears at ease.

“The passion of the instructor made us feel like we’re going to be okay and cared for. The course had tons of great information and some insider L/D Nurse insight which we’re definitely going to use.

“Liz did an absolutely fantastic job! I was engaged the whole time and never felt pressured to answer a question if I didn’t want to. She made me feel more confident and comfortable with the birth process. All of my questions were answered! I’m so thankful!”
