Due to COVID-19, the MLFEd studio in Devon, PA is temporarily closed for in-person classes and events.

We are excited to offer parents virtual, LIVE classes and events using Microsoft Teams. Our Virtual Classroom is accessible from anywhere and the following classes are open for registration now:

All classes will be held during their regularly scheduled date and time, with the exception of 1-Day Childbirth Preparation. Due to the length of this course and the amount of information covered, it will be divided into two parts for virtual instruction. In addition, we will be offering the opportunity to test out your computer set-up and get support if necessary before any live class begins. After you register for one of the above courses, we will be in touch with detailed instructions on how to access the Virtual Classroom.

For the classes and workshops that necessitate meeting in-person, we are happy to move your existing reservation to a future class date. We are adding classes in the summer months to make rescheduling as easy as possible for you and your family.

Thank you for entrusting us with your pregnancy and parenting education! We look forward to seeing you inside our Virtual Classroom and at Meetups. It truly does “take a village”, and we are so grateful you’ve chosen MLFEd be a part of yours.

Sincerely,

Nicole Didizian, RN and the MLFEd Team

In an effort to comply with the social distancing recommendation of the CDC, we’ve made the decision to close the MLFEd studio through the end of March.

We are excited to offer our families access to virtual classes beginning 3/15/20 for the following courses that lend themselves to online learning! They include:

If you are registered for one of these courses between now and March 31, we will be in touch with detailed instructions on how to access our virtual classroom. These classes will be held during their regularly scheduled date and time. In addition, we will be offering the opportunity to test out your computer set-up and get support if necessary before any live-streamed class begins.

For the classes and workshops that necessitate meeting in-person (CPR, TummyTime, Infant Massage, Core Restoration) we are happy to move existing reservations to a later class date. We are also adding additional dates in late spring/early summer for our full classes, to ensure there is availability for everyone to attend.

If you are registered for any class between now and 3/31/20, we will be in touch with you shortly. If you are registered for any class in the month of April, we appreciate your patience as we are continuously re-evaluating our class plans based on recommendations from the CDC. We will be in touch in advance of your class to confirm, update and coordinate.

Thank you for your understanding, flexibility and support of our small business. We look forward to continuing to offer you the highest quality pregnancy and parenting education.

Sincerely,

Nicole Didizian, RN and the MLFEd Team

Dear MLFEd Families,

I wanted to reach out with a quick update on MLFEd’s plans to safely continue teaching you amidst the growing COVID-19 Coronavirus concern.

As you are likely aware, there has been an increase in the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 Coronavirus in Pennsylvania as the number of individuals being tested increases.

Based on the fact that our classes are small, and in accordance with the latest CDC recommendations, at this time we are not planning to cancel scheduled sessions.

We want to assure you that our studio has always taken infection control very seriously, since we are working with expectant mothers and newborn babies. Every surface is thoroughly wiped down at the beginning and end of the day with a CDC-approved disinfectant, and shared areas are wiped down before and after each of our classes.

If you or a family member has potentially been exposed to this virus, please notify us and do not come to class.

If you or a family member is showing any signs or symptoms of a common cold, flu, or other communicable disease, please notify us and do not come to class.

We will do our best to reschedule any missed classes as needed. In the event that we cannot place you in a suitable make-up session, a refund will be given.

We will continue to monitor the spread of this virus and adhere to any recommendations made by the CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health. If the recommendations change in the upcoming days or weeks and cancellations become necessary, we will notify you.

Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Nicole Didizian, RN and the MLFEd Team
