About Liz
Liz is an experienced Registered Nurse, a Certified Inpatient Obstetric Nurse, and a Certified Childbirth Educator. She has been helping families welcome their little ones into the world as a labor and delivery nurse for the past decade.
Liz received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Villanova University in 2013. After graduation, Liz began her nursing career at Magee Women’s hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Fun fact-Magee has the highest annual birth rate of all hospitals within Pennsylvania! After almost two years in Pittsburgh Liz moved home (a Delco native) and began working at Paoli hospital. While at Paoli, Liz was lucky enough to meet Nicole (MLFEd founder) and has been proud to call her a friend ever since.
Currently, Liz cares for laboring patients, moms during cesarean deliveries, as well as newborns and families in the immediate postpartum period. While she enjoys all aspects of her job, educating and encouraging her patients is her passion!
Since welcoming her own daughter in 2021, Liz has become only more aware of the importance of education and support during this special time. She is thrilled to be a part of the Main Line Family Education team. Liz hopes that she can help ease some of the inevitable anxiety that comes with becoming a parent-it is truly the most fulfilling adventure!
When Liz isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband Ed, daughters Lulu and Caroline, and their Bernese Mountain dog, Banjo. She also loves running, reading, and cooking.
