Breastfeeding 101 (On-Demand)

My overall experience has been wonderful! The team made me feel secure and comfortable going into the birthing process. I feel more equipped with the material that was given. I also liked that this class was smaller, and the instructors made us feel comfortable asking any question.

I loved [Breastfeeding 101] and took so much away. This class made me feel more prepared for breastfeeding with all of the tips and tricks! I also loved the in-person setting and small group. I will be back for another course, most likely post baby. I honestly wish I came in sooner to take more prenatal classes!

These classes make me and my husband feel better prepared for what comes after birth. As a couple who has no family or close friends living near us, we need all the help we can get. This class was very informative, with lots of good and practical advice.

Lots of good, solid information taking the fear out of breastfeeding, and presenting all of the reasons why it is beneficial to baby.

I felt as though I was able to learn about breastfeeding from a trusted and reliable source. You can tell the instructor has a lot of experience and knows what she’s talking about, so I trust what she says. I feel much more confident to start my breastfeeding journey now and feel excited about it! I felt as though I learned lots of things that I couldn’t find on Google! I loved getting the bottle, swaddle, and breastfeeding pillow recommendations as well. I also liked how she gave my husband some ways he can help.

I thought the experience was great and I feel much more prepared. I loved the group size. All of my questions were answered very thoroughly, and I felt comfortable asking them. The instructor was knowledgeable and engaging, and I love that I already know of a lactation consultant for when my baby comes. 10/10!

While always knowing I wanted to try, I left Breastfeeding 101 class feeling even more encouraged and motivated to breastfeed, despite knowing that it will be difficult. I also feel a lot more at ease going into the first few days as a new mom after learning what is normal, that formula supplementation is not always needed, and baby has innate instincts to latch, suck, and decide when they are hungry/full. This class was informative, evidence-based, small and the instructor made everyone feel very comfortable. Thank you for a great experience!

Really enjoyed Breastfeeding 101 and was grateful to take this class before my fast-approaching due date. I feel much more equipped to take on breastfeeding from the moment of birth and appreciated Brooke’s paced way of teaching, wealth of knowledge, and the survey course style touching on so many aspects of breastfeeding- the benefits for baby and mom, latching and holding techniques, setting expectations on time commitment, and reviewing supply demand dynamics.
